Dive into the beautiful clear greenish-blue  water at Bullards Bar. Despite the elevation, the water is relatively warm. Explore this reservoir and it's waterfall. 

Rainbow Trout,  Browns, Largemouth Bass, or Spotted Bass, which one will you catch? Campsites also available and accessible by boat only. Or you can rent a houseboat for the weekend with your buddies. 

Make sure to visit one of the oldest, deepest, and richest gold mines in California: the Empire Mine State Historic Park. There is a museum, tours, and miles of hiking trails to explore. 

There is nothing like spending hours of quality time in the fresh air with friends and family on a sublime, beautiful golf course. 

Get on the water and explore beautiful Lake Wildwood by renting a boat-trike, kayak, or a Paddle Board. Rentals are available through the summer months at the Recreation Center. Because you stand at full height on your Paddleboard, it gives a unique vantage point for viewing what's down under the water and out along the horizon.

Nearby Grass Valley has the #1 disc golf course in the country! Playing is competitive, helps you stay fit, and anyone can play. You can also rent discs and play our mini-course in Commodore Park within the gates of Lake Wildwood.  

E-bikes offer extended range and ease of use. Take a long bike ride along some of the beautiful mountain roads with spectacular and unique California sceneries.

Swim in the Yuba River and visit Bridgeport's covered bridge, only 10 minutes away. 

Thunder Valley Casino (Lincoln), and Hard Rock Casino (Wheatland) are both nearby for gambling, dining, and top talent concerts! 

California's best preserved Gold Rush town, Nevada City is nostalgic, yet friendly. There is local shopping, restaurants, and historic bars to enjoy.
